Butler Named Champion of Character
Senior cross country and track & field student-athlete Anthony Butler (Lincoln Park, Mich./Roosevelt) was recognized for his service after being named to the WHAC’s Champions of Character Team. The honor was doled out to Butler after the senior was nominated for embodying the NAIA’s Five Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship.
Butler, like many of Marygrove’s student-athletes, has showcased willingness to participate in a variety of community service projects during his four-year tenure as a Mustang.
With the award, Butler joins a cast of fall sport student-athletes that have been named to the WHAC’s Champions of Character Teams.
