McCarthy Enters WHAC Jamboree No. 3

Event: WHAC Jamboree No. 3 – Hosted by Madonna University

Course: Fellows Creek Golf Course (Canton, Mich.)

McCarthy, a former standout at Dexter High School, will look to put Marygrove Golf on the map when he takes the course Saturday morning at the WHAC Jamboree No. 3 event hosted by Madonna University. The event will also mark the first varsity contest for any golfer in the short history of Marygrove College Golf.

After the conference event, the McCarthy, along with head coach Frank McAuliffe, will head to State College, Pennsylvania, for the 2012 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championships. The two-day championship event will begin Monday (Oct. 8) morning.
