Ells Signs Letter of Intent

Ells, a 5’6″ distance runner, will add depth to the growing cross country and track & field programs headed by LaCema Womack. During his time a Midland High School, Ells was a Saginaw Valley Conference (SVC) and MHSAA Regional qualifier after successful junior and senior campaigns. The former captain helped lead Midland High to a SVC Track & Field Championship in 2010.

When listing his career highlights, Ells pointed to 2011 where he ran a personal best at a regional event under the lights hosted by Flint Southwestern. Ells will major in elementary education at Marygrove.

Coach Womack on Ells: Anthony is a great young man that fits the mold of a Mustang cross country and track & field student-athlete. He possesses a great work ethic and shows willingness to learn as a student of the sport. I look forward to seeing the team in action soon.
