Berry Commits to Mustang Soccer

DETROIT, MI–Men’s Soccer added their second student-athlete to what promises to be an impressive recruiting class for the 2009-2010 season, the inaugural season for Mustang soccer. Crestwood High School standout Jordan Berry inked his letter of intent Thursday morning inside the board room at Crestwood High.Berry comes to Marygrove with four years varsity experience. He was the leading scorer for two years and named team captain his senior season. The 6’1″ forward/midfielder was awarded All-Area and All-District honors over the course of a successful high school career. Adding to his impressive high school resume, Berry also plays on a successful travel team in the metro area.

Coach Johnson on Berry: Jordan is a very hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. I look forward to great things from this young man over the next four years. We are pleased to have Jordan join our program.
