Butler Sets School Record at NAIA Invite

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-Sophomore Anthony (AJ) Butler’s comeback from an early season injury took a strong step forward Saturday afternoon. In only his fourth race of the season, Butler managed to will his way to a personal and school best time of 29:01 in the 8k race.

Butler’s record pace inspired his team en route to their best overall performance of the year. The stellar outing couldn’t have come at a better time since conference and national tournaments are on the horizon.
