Nate Taylor || Division I USCAA All-American Honorable Mention

DETROIT, Mich. – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) has announced the 2016-17 Division I Men’s Basketball All-American awards. The All-American honors are selected by the USCAA All-American committee.

The Marygrove College men’s basketball team is represented by #11 Nate Taylor (SR/Battle Creek, MI).

Taylor is a 6-foot-6 senior forward from Battle Creek, Michigan. He led the Mustangs in multiple categories this season including Average Points Per Game (17.9), Double-Doubles (23), Average Rebounds Per Game (11.1), Total Points Scored (556), Total Rebounds (342), and Total Blocks (24).

Earlier this season, Taylor was named First Team Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), All-Conference and NAIA All-America Honorable Mention. He was a key component in the men’s basketball team making the WHAC Playoffs for the first time in program history. In Taylor’s junior year, he was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I All-American Honorable Mention.
