Mustangs Add Speed with Roseburgh
DETROIT, MI–A full slate of summer workouts and pickup games were not enough to keep Coach Donahue from signing another student-athlete on Monday. Covert High School product Delaney Roseburgh was the latest to join Mustang basketball by signing his letter of intent.
Roseburgh, a 5’11” point guard, comes to Marygrove with speed, and a lot of it. His unique skillset landed him three years on varsity as a starter. During his junior and senior seasons, the two-year captain was a back-to-back All-Red Arrow Conference selection. He topped off a successful career by leading his team to the Christmas Tournament and Red Arrow Conference championships his senior season.
Coach Donahue on Roseburgh: Delaney is a physical guard with exceptional speed. His quickness should be of great value to our pressure defense and fast break style. His high school coach Grant Gondrezick, a former NBA player, gave him a strong recommendation. We are pleased to sign a young man like Delaney. He will be a fine student-athlete at Marygrove for years to come.
