Mustangs Swept in Three Straight Sets

BLUFFTON, Ohio-The long season may be taking a toll on the youth-ridden Mustang squad. A three-set sweep by Bluffton’s JV held the tired Mustangs back from making a statement for A.I.I. playoff positioning on Wednesday evening.

The match was decided early by the impressive Bluffton squad as they went on to win 25-18, 25-12, and 25-13. With the loss, the Mustangs now sit at 8-22 on the season with one game remaining (@ Great Lakes Christian 10/23). A win at Great Lakes Christian on Friday would place the Mustangs one game away from the double-digit win plateau. Game time is set for 7pm.  A victory may be enough to keep the Mustangs in the A.I.I. playoff picture and enough to send the first year team to Texas in early November.
